Abstract

The present work corresponds to a Master's thesis in Education Sciences with a specialization in Social Pedagogy titled "Residential Reception - From the Autonomy Apartment to Adulthood - Paths of Learning." The study conducted presents the perspective of young individuals who have experienced or are experiencing the autonomy apartment experience in a residential reception context, based on their perceptions. Assuming that autonomy apartments provide young people with a "trial" of independent living, from a theoretical perspective, a literature review was developed within the field of Education Sciences, particularly in Social Pedagogy. From an empirical standpoint, this work was based on a case study, framed within a qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews with young residents and former residents of an autonomy apartment. The analyzed data allowed for the conclusion that young people value their experiences in autonomy apartments, emphasizing their importance in enabling them to organize their lives and become independent in the future.
