This report aims to display the technical and theoretical process involved in the creation of the short film Alberto, produced for the class of Final Project in the Master in Sound and Image with a major in Computer Animation. Alberto is a traditional animation short film whose main purpose is to explore the graphical properties of graphite, charcoal, and gouache in textured paper, in conjunction with the study of visual and perspective distortion of the environment. In this way, this report is composed of four distinct chapters. The objectives and motivations, the synopsis, the team and the role each element had in the project are described in the Introduction. In the approach and treatment section, visual and theoretical references, the method and schedule are analysed. In the production history are described the pre-production, the production and post-production, where the process of creation is observed. Lastly, this report counts with a reflection of what has been made, from problems found to an observation of the final product.
