Abstract

In recent decades, Information and Communications Technology was the area that evolved more, mainly because of its adoption and use in organizations and in almost all sectors of human life, which have pursued the applicability of new technologies in different contexts, allowing therefore the massification of ICT. In education, ICT started to play a major role in the evolution of the teaching-learning process, starting to have an unquestionable acceptance by teachers, who seek to introduce them in their educational practices, regardless of their discipline or subject area. Thus, this report seeks to describe an experience in the teaching of Information and Communications Technology in a professional context and account for the educational experiences developed over the past few years, as well as the research promoted in the use of OS Virtualization software in school context, seeking to stimulate the study and preference for computer sciences in the students and a response to current needs that teachers have in applying the theoretical and practical concepts of the curriculum of their disciplines. In the end, we seek to assess the results of the introduction of these practices in the classroom and find out about the pedagogical richness involved in exploiting this software by students, consenting on a grounded, ongoing and consolidated theoretical and practical education with the labour market.
