The following research addresses case study focused on the processes of new store development in specialized retail. It reflects a global analysis of the project management processes in a store remodelling of a Sonae’s group store. Based in a Lean Thinking methodology and its applicability to project management this work has as main objectives the detailed exposition of the entire development, identification of waste related and suggestions for its extinction through a lean approach, maximizing efficiency through incremental improvement. For that purpose it follows a detailed deconstruction of the project on each phase, including process mapping, analysis of milestones, stakeholders and time frame.
