This study aims to characterize two groups of heterosexual couples diagnosed with infertility and undergoing PMA treatment - during and after Covid 19 - regarding sociodemographic characteristics, characteristics associated with infertility, anxiety and depression. The sample consists of 110 couples (69 who started a PMA process during the pandemic and 41 after it), aged between 25 and 54 years. The instruments used were the GIPPMA Pre-Treatment Protocol and the Screening of In-Vitro Fertility Treatments (SCREEN-IVF). From the results we highlight anxiety values above the SCREEN-IVF cut-off point, both in the sample during the pandemic (76.8% of women and 72.5% of men) and after the pandemic (70.7% of women and 65.9% of men). Regarding depression, 15.9% of men and 14.5% of women during the pandemic and 2.4% of men and 12.2% of women after the pandemic show values above the cut-off point. There were no significant differences between during and post pandemic. As for anxiety, the results during the pandemic corroborate those of other studies. Thus, if the post pandemic data remains similar to those of the pandemic period, special clinical attention is needed for these couples.
