The Execution Premium model was designed by Kaplan & Norton (2008) to help companies ensure alignment between strategy and operations. This management model incorporates the use of tools in order to generate an effective strategic process, which takes place over 6 stages, from strategy design to execution. This paper aims to describe the strategic management process of CCAM ACB according to the Execution Premium model and analyze its suitability and usefulness, according to the characteristics and circumstances of the financial institution. The methodology used to answer the research question was the case study, designed using informal interviews, internal documents and public information. From the analysis carried out, it was found that, overall, there is an effective alignment between strategy and operations, where formal and informal control tools are used to guide the behavior of managers and employees. Nevertheless, the study concluded that the introduction of the Execution Premium in CCAM ACB is feasible and useful, as it can create a more integrative and transparent strategic management process, essential to motivate the whole organization to move in the right direction.
