Aplicação dos fundamentos de mimética dentária num caso clínico

Abstract

The dental aesthetic aims to create teeth in the correct proportions returning a balanced and harmonious relationship between them in respect of size, proportions and contours. The ability to make a tooth look narrower or wider, smaller or larger, is a valuable aid to clinicians in resolving difficult problems in esthetic dentistry. There are techniques of optical illusion that permit to camouflage size changes. This theory has been properly developed and applied in the clinical case documented.
