Abstract

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are the engine of the society. These technologies have an important role in the individual’s learning process and should be thought as a part of their training throughout life. Their role in the learning process is crucial and their potential in a collaborative/cooperative learning is unquestionable. This document explores the ICT in the context of teaching, describing a supervised teaching practice process and presenting a case study in the context of collaborative/ cooperative learning. We can read in this report the description of our training process in teaching. We describe the activities that we created to promote engagement learning. Then we present a scientific research (a case study) to understand if students, digital natives, take ownership of the Web 2.0 technologies and if they recognize its usefulness/importance to build knowledge in a collaborative/cooperative way. The results of the study show us that students recognize the usefulness and importance of Google Drive technology in the development of collaborative/cooperative works. The study also revealed receptivity to its use in students group work. Finally, the objectives of this document are to synthesize our training process in teaching and further contribute to the understanding of the use of ICT in collaborative/cooperative learning.
