The present study focuses on the research on the articulation developed in a Vertical tutor group of Schools and seeks to understand how the teachers of this tutor group perceive the curriculum, pedagogical and organizational articulation. We chose a qualitative and descriptive case study. The collecting of data was made through twelve interviews and documentary research. It was our goal to understand how teachers see the horizontal articulation (in elementary school), trying to distinguish the different existing ones, how it develops in the vertical tutor group of schools, identifying cumulatively practices of transition between levels and stages of teaching, contributing thereby to the knowledge of articulation practices in the school context. We face different conceptions as well as diverse articulation practices, and teachers do understand that articulation is important to ensure the sequentiality of the students’ school career and to make the most out of teachers’ work.
