The main goal of this work is to explain in which way the work developed in pedagogical pair concerning the integration of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the curricular areas in Madeira Island Primary School contributes to the development of teachers and students skills. This is the main issue that we discuss in this work, as many others, through semi-structured exploratory interviews and questionnaires developed to ICT teachers and titular class teachers in the 1st cycle on basic education. Besides that, we want to analyze how far the developed actions are effective in a co-ordinated way, in association, collaboration and cooperation between pedagogical pairs. We also talk about the share of experiences and new concepts in education, as team teaching. This study is of exploratory nature, with the use of qualitative and quantitative methods. The sample is made up of 74 teachers that answered the questionnaire. Thus 46 are ICT teachers and 28 are titular class teachers. After the data research and its analyses, it is easier to understand the work that was made in pedagogic pairs. As far as class titular teachers are concerned, the work experience of pedagogic pair came to help to recognize that the ICT, as a resource and strategy, are a surplus value to teaching and thus, they feel more supported. The ICT allows articulation the skills - ICT areas with the skills in the curricular areas. The great majority of ICT teachers, with the work experience in pedagogical pair, acknowledge to acquire and develop more competences concerning the ICT. They also feel motivated to work in collaboration with other teachers and know the pedagogic advantages of the use of the ICT in the curricular areas with students.
