The importance of Alzheimer Dementia in recent years on the economic and social level led to the study and development of the efficiency of different types of interventions, either pharmacological or neuropsychological, such as the Cognitive Training program with the console wiiTM NintendoTM (Calvo, Perez, Contador, Santorum & Ramos, 2011). The main goal of this multiple case study is to evaluate the efficiency of a Cognitive Training program with the console wiiTM NintendoTM through the cognitive performance of four patients likely to have a diagnosis of Alzheimer Dementia. Like other similar investigations, the results show that the program was effective in the preservation of the cognitive domains and delay of cognitive decline. The research also aimed to understand the impact of the intervention on the quality of life of the patient, but results were inconclusive. As a final point, a brief insight on the main conclusions and limitations of the study is presented, as well as some suggestions for future research.
