It has been found that the potential emergence of behavioral, cognitive and motor may be related toenvironmental, educational and family which determine the interaction between the child and theenvironment.Objective: The aim of the study was to analyze a group of premature infants of very low birth weight(VLBW) and extremely low birth weight (ELBW) manifest indicators of psychopathology andwhether these are related do socio-demographic factors, aspects of clinical history and/ordevelopmental.Instruments: For the present study was given a privilege to a quantitative analysis of data, notingsome relationship between the profile obtained from the “Child Behavior Checklist for ages 1 ½ - 5” (CBCL 1 ½ - 5”), components of elements of socio-demographic data sheet.Results: Found to be a greater perception by parents of behavior problems when you have a lowsocioeconomic level, verifying the same association in gestational age, in a lower gestational age is theperception of behavior problems. Exploitation of low birth weight and duration of hospitalization, whitbehavior problems, there were no significant results. Regarding gender differences were staticallysignificant.
