Introduction: Bone repair involves complex biological processes mediated by signaling molecules. Therapies using laser irradiation and ozone gas emerge as promising alternatives in the bone regeneration process. Indeed, the purpose of this systematic review is to evaluate the biostimulatory effects during bone repair using these two alternative therapy models, and analyzing the ozone concentration and laser power necessary to obtain a better biomodulatory response. Methodology: The research was carried out using the databases PubMed/Medline®, Web of Science®, Embase and Scopus® where MeSH terms and free text terms were used with the Boolean operators AND and OR. Two independent researchers, with the help of the RAYYAN platform, selected the articles according to the PRISMA guidelines flowchart, and agreement was assessed using Cohen's kappa coefficient. Successively, the articles were analyzed and chosen according to the established eligibility criteria. Results: The initial investigation identified 60 articles. After selection using the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 5 articles were considered suitable and after reading the full text, they were included in the study. Laser irradiation and ozone therapies compared to control groups showed significantly greater results in terms of long-term bone regeneration, especially when used in the early stages of healing. Conclusion: The results obtained in this review indicate that ozone and laser therapies have proven to be an effective alternative for accelerating healing and promoting bone regeneration, but the literature lacks clinical studies. However, ozone gas therapy proved to be more effective in terms of reducing bone resorption and laser therapy more effective in bone repair. Even so, more comparative studies are needed to determine the ideal application parameters.
