Adolescence is one of the most important periods in a young teenager's life, in which they discover their identity and formulate their personality. Starting from the concepts of adolescence and friendship, it is essential to approach these concepts in social and digital contexts, given that the latter is increasingly present in today's society and in the lives of young teenagers. Within the spectrum of new technologies, social networks are gaining greater prominence, so it is important to understand how they can be a beneficial horizon for communication, not only in the digital spectrum, but also as a starting point for the social environment of face-to-face encounters. Then, in the light of the message of the Encyclical Fratelli Tutti, it becomes essential to understand the possible contributions and paths to be taken to build fraternity within the digital and social spheres. Addressing the reality of today's society and its problems, looking for communication alternatives for fraternity becomes one of the main objectives. Fraternity only becomes real and possible when you reach out to the other, in true open communication, in which you not only accept their presence, but at the same time welcome them in the logic of fraternal love.
