The organizational climate phenomenon and pleasure-grief at work perceived by all workers, are important indicators in organizational diagnosis. This diagnosis becomes even more important when these perceptions come from IPSS workers who have multiple answers, these are inserted in specific contexts and provide differentiated services to an audience quite vulnerable. The objectives of this study are: to investigate the organizational climate and the pleasure-grief at work in three homes for the elderly in IPSS from Braga, correlations in order to know if there are significant differences in workers perceptions of the three social responses. The investigation began with a literature review and theoretical foundation. The design of the research is descriptive and proceeded to the comparison between groups. For this purpose we used two instruments: the Social Climate at Work and the Escala de Indicadores de Prazer- Sofrimento no Trabalho. The sample is of 31 subjects, being the population of 50. Research points to the existence of differences in the perceptions of workers of three homes for the elderly. The descriptive analysis leads to the conclusion that home 3 workers have higher values than those remaining workers homes, in cohesion, organization and control dimensions, and in appreciation, recognition and wear. It has not been possible to carry out tests of correlation with scientific validity, because the sample was too small (N=31). The evaluation is important to the Organization, because it allows the direction becomes aware about how workers feel in the Organization and in the execution of their daily tasks. The direction can implement measures to prevent or eliminate harmful behaviors the Organization and employees.
