Given the current climate of increasing complexity and organizational change, erstanding of organizational commitment has become paramount in human resource management, along with the performance of the work of psychologists and organizations with its interdisciplinary approach, which has been widespread and worked in organizations as an innovative trend and humanized. Thus, this research is a quantitative, investigates the organizational climate and the pleasure-pain at work in the automotive sector. The climate is the result of organizational characteristics includes values such as culture, norms, practices and customs. The pleasure-pain is a result of the confrontation of employees with certain contexts and work is also supported by the approach of psychodynamic work. The main objective is to analyze the relationship between organizational climate and the pleasure-pain at work, employees of Gestamp Aveiro. In this sense, was taken in a random sample of 79 subjects, 58 (73.4%) males and 21 (26.6%) were female, with an average age close to 36 years, these being between the 21 and 58 years. Regarding the methodology, we applied a questionnaire that included a dichotomous scale that measures the social climate at work, produced by Lobo and Fernandez (2001) and a Likert scale of pleasure-pain at work, proposed by Mendes (1999). To treat the data we used the statistical program, Statistical Packpage for Social Sciences - SPSS 20.0 for Windows. The results confirm the existence of a relationship between organizational climate and the pleasure-pain at work. The organizational climate subscales are positive and significant in the analysis of the Spearman correlation coefficient in relation to the dimensions of pleasure-pain, however, these results reveal negative and significant in relation to climate, through Pearson correlation test .The subscale climate that is most evident is the support, and the predictors of subscale: are the dimensions of insecurity and tear of pleasure-pain scale. The insecurity is the dimension that is evident on the scale of pleasure-pain, being its predictive the subscale support. The results obtained are conditioned by the number of subjects in the sample.
