Abstract
Crime in Sports is an increasingly recognized reality for all, which accentuates the need to create and implement mechanisms aimed at preventing crime within the sports universe. In this context, criminal compliance gains increasing relevance, being crucial to ensure that sports entities1 organize, monitor, and control their own activities, namely through compliance programs. This dissertation aims, therefore, to expose the overarching importance of Sports, contextualize the institute of criminal compliance, culminating in an analysis of the specific relevance of compliance programs in sports entities.| Date of Award | 25 Oct 2024 |
