The presence of companies in the digital environment has become essential, both in terms of their visibility, competitiveness and relations with customers, as well as for their internal staff. The digitalisation process requires a global approach, involving the use of new technologies, the promotion of a culture of innovation and effective management of organisational processes. The aim of this internship report was to study the internal organisational communication of Vila Verde City Council, as part of the SANUS 03 project, which aimed to promote the health and well-being of the municipality's workers. We sought to find out to what extent internal communication can be a factor that promotes health and well-being in a local authority context. Although the creation of a private group on the social network Facebook has boosted the success of the initiative, we realised that such a digital communication channel must be accompanied by a certain proximity to the various departments and hierarchical levels, as well as pedagogy and training in digital literacy and active listening to employees' expectations.
