The persistence of the problems of professional, personal and familiar conciliation is one of the most obvious signs of gender inequality persistence, in spite of the progress relating with formal equality, consolidated in public politics and legislation. In this research, the analysis of the conciliation problematic is a gender analysis, which puts the relationships between men and women in the centre of this reflection. This occurs because it is believed that it has a heuristic potential for the problematic understanding in the subjects’ perspective (the way the gender conceptions have influence in men and women’s performance, conception and experience relating with work and family). So, the following dimensions are mobilized in an analytic perspective: Conceptions about identities, gender’s value and role, strategies used to conciliation, perception of work-family, family-work conflict (conflict factors, lost perception), visions about public politics and organizational practice, rights’ literacy and “sense of entitlement”.
