This investigation intends to analyze the themes of working conditions, motivation, and balance between personal and professional life, from the perception of soccer coaches in training. This exploratory study aimed to understand the perceptions inherent to working conditions, the perceptions of motivation, and the perception of balance between personal and professional life of soccer coaches in training. The study uses the qualitative method, and nine individual semi-structured interviews were conducted. Data were analyzed and processed using the NVivo 12 software. The results indicate that although the participants denote a high perception of personal-professional conflict in life and at the same time negatively perceive their working conditions, they also feel motivated to continue exercising the activity of training soccer coaches. In addition to this, we were also able to conclude that most participants have another work activity besides the activity of football training coach. Finally, it is presented some limitations and suggestions for future investigations.
