The focus of this research paper is to present and relate two concepts from a critical review perspective: conflict and creativity in an organizational context. Firstly, we identified a combination of factors required to approach these two subjects, as well as the relevance of the study in an organizational context. Subsequently, aiming to explore the connections between conflict and creativity, it became necessary to assess several representative situations in an organizational context. Thus, we elaborated an investigation in the interpretive theory field starting with the analysis and approaching the conflict which focus was to analyse and understand the subject. Also we explored the conflict of the representative situations with organizational nature which we aimed to develop with this paper. Regarding creativity, we tried to comprehend its evolution and our focus was to look at this subject as a process. In the same way, we have also approached the representative situations with an organizational character and compared them to the creativity phenomenon. The conceptual framework was the baseline to look at these two concepts as two existing realities in the organizations which pursue reciprocal influences. The empiric work of the present paper focuses on knowing the meanings between the two concepts in each representative situation of organizational character which anchors a theoretical basis tested by our interpretation of the data, which have been verified with interviews to organizational framework professionals.
