The present work, entitled "Spiritual knowledge and social bond - a case study", corresponds to a master's thesis focused on the role of school education as far as the promotion of relational skills associated to spiritual knowledge is concerned. Starting from the conviction that spiritual skills are increasingly relevant in training children and young adults, we were impelled to know how this area is contemplated in the formal documents of school. Therefore, we chose a framework of analysis situated in the area of Educational Sciences, finding specific relevance in the areas of Social Pedagogy, Psychology, Anthropology and all the axiological Education. In practical terms we opted for a case study approach, bearing in mind the reality of a concrete school (CNSR), in order to measure the relevance of the theme of spirituality in its official documents and also in its teaching methods, so as to measure the perception of actors, educators and students about this topic. The collected and analyzed data reinforced the former conviction, establishing a set of enhancing conclusions on the need of creating relational experiences able to promote social bonds, that is to say – in this specific context - spiritual knowledge.
