Alcohol consumption during pregnancy has been the target of concern because of the consequences of this consumption - Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). It is necessary to bet on the intervention of this problem. Interested in knowing perspectives and knowledge about the phenomenon so that they can contribute to preventive approaches that are increasingly effective, I give voice, in this work, to young university students who, in addition to the widely described consumption habits, will also be potentially pregnant in the future. Following a qualitative methodology, interviews were conducted using a semi-structured script. The interviews were transcribed, subsequently proceeding to a semi-inductive approach to the data using the Nvivo software. The results indicate that the participants have risky consumption and insufficient information about the consequences of alcohol consumption during pregnancy. These also demonstrate some incongruity regarding alcohol consumption during pregnancy and a need for greater investment in prevention with this group.
