Abstract

This work is a reflection about how we can respond in a context of globalization demands that society, families and students put the school to meet the demands for quality education. The changes that we live induce in school improvement processes that will be focused on the construction and affirmation of a new professionalism, which asserts itself through its ability to generate new knowledge of a practical nature and that makes practical by implication in purpose of philosophical, political and ethical nature in their options. Excluding that change is realized only by the change in attitude of teachers to a collaborative attitude, we will promote a reflection about how to give coherence to the changes at the teaching practices with the changes that promote increased school autonomy by the emergence of a center of social- communitarian regulation.
