Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand the mechanisms for creating value through inter-organisational relationships, with a particular focus on the inter­ organisational relationship between Intraplás and Yoplait. Firstly, from a theoretical point of view, we studied the different types of relationships, the reasons behind their creation and then two models of value creation through inter-organisational relationships, one more global and the other specific. Then, based on the information gathered in the interviews with Intraplás employees, it was possible to draw up a theoretical and practical framework that enabled us to draw some conclusions. In general, the results show that Intraplás relies on different mechanisms and activities to maintain a lasting relationship based on the creation of mutual value, results that coincide with some of the literature presented. This research contributes to a better understanding of value creation mechanisms in inter-organisational relationships and highlights the importance of a more collaborative and value-oriented approach to managing business partnerships.
