Management control is an essential tool for companies that seek to improve their performance and achieve sustainable results by monitoring and analyzing internal processes, it is possible to identify strengths and weaknesses, establish clear establish goals, and make decisions based on concrete data. It's in the scope of process improvement that the practical work developed at Rigor – Consultoria e Gestão, Salvador Caetano Group, arises. The realization of a diagnosis of the current Management Control system at Rigor, weaknesses, and possible opportunities are identified for improvement in order to achieve success in operations. After this identification, the most prominent weak point refers to the long response time to the client. In addition, it was identified the lack of clarity in the Company's strategy and the need for clarity and compilation of information. The outcome of the case study follows the guidelines of these weaknesses, with the aim of overcoming them through management control tools in order to show the efficiency and effectiveness in the processes allowing to achieve the satisfaction of customers and employees and consequently, gain a competitive advantage in the market. In conclusion, with the implementation of a strategic and collaborative approach within Rigor, the goal is to achieve excellence and maximize the potential of management control.
