Abstract

Is it possible to speak of a creation in the Bantu culture? And as Africans, we live in the consciousness of having reasons for it. But what happens to a mythological religious interpretation of the world? How did one arrive at the affirmation of such creation myths? We do not want to make a number of fanciful statements about the subject here. Like any culture, then yes we can speak of a creation from our reality, from our RTA. Therefore, Bantu culture is the fruit of similarities in the various structures of life and being of the peoples of Sub-Saharan Africa. This dissertation seeks to answer this and other questions. Above all, he devoted himself to analyzing Creation in Bantu culture in dialogue with Laudato Yes of Pope Francisco. We do not seek to conceal a traditional Africa with its weaknesses, its poverty, its inequalities and its discrimination. But these realities that were of the past and still are today can not lead us to live outside the present. We must seek another way of being in the world. In this perspective it is possible to maintain a fruitful dialogue between the Bantu culture and the Christian faith, in the light of Laudato Yes (ecology).
