Abstract

The Master's Course in Nursing with Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing (EEMC) was a fundamental strategy for the acquisition of high levels of critical thinking and decision-making, translated into a set of specific skills that aim to improve the nursing care provided to the patient. adult in critical situation and/or organ failure, to a deeper level of knowledge and skills. This report intends to give visibility to the solutions developed for the situations/problems identified, to reflect on and about the activities carried out and their ethical and social implications and to adequately communicate the conclusions drawn during the Internship at the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (ICUT and Emergency Department). General polyvalent. This report aims to show the ability to identify and analyze problems, develop strategies, implement solutions, demonstrate the ability to reflect on the actions taken. With this work I also intend to demonstrate the importance of the internship in the acquisition of competences and the need for constant mobilization of knowledge, necessary for the path of learning and personal and professional enrichment, indispensable for the full performance of the role of Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing and teacher. During the internships carried out in the context of intensive care and recovery and emergency services, I deepened my knowledge and developed scientific, technical and relational skills in the specialized care of the person in a critical situation, responding promptly to their complex needs and the outbreaks of instability, In order to develop the skills of a master, the scoping was created, where it was intended to map the nursing care in the literature in the training of the person undergoing organ transplantation for self-care. At the end of this learning path, I consider that I have achieved the objectives where we underline the great contribution given to my personal and professional development, which will certainly prove to be essential in my future action, providing tools to improve the quality of practice, in a pursuit of excellence in care.
