This report , while course of the 6th course of Master in Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Portuguese Catholic University - Institute of Health Sciences, aims to be a tool for evaluating and seeks the description of the continuous path over the modules of internship through a critical and reflective analysis , taking into account the skills areas defended by the Order of Nurses for Specialist Nurse , namely: Legal, Ethics and Professional Responsibility; Quality Management; Care Management and Professional Learning Development. Training modules were held in ER and in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at the Hospital Pedro Hispano and in the National Institute of Medical Emergency - Delegation of Porto, allowing the acquisition of skills in the area of Medical-Surgical Nursing . In three modules of training, I developed skills in the approach and providing care of the person in emerging sate and in critical condition, as well I helped the patient and family who experience complex processes involved in sudden, critical illness and organ failure. The report is structured in several chapters apart from the Introduction and Conclusion, to describe my journey through the Specialization . This report is organized into 5 chapters: the introduction held a brief summary of the 3 modules of internship, also makes a brief characterization of every local; development is divided in 3 points (for modules of stage), relating the activities, as well the critical reflection with the general powers of the Specialist Nurse advocated by Order of Nurses, deriving from the provision of medical care to the medical - surgical patient and the conclusion gives a synopsis of the most relevant aspects over the 3 modules of internship and what contributions I left in the services.
