Abstract

This dissertation investigates the impact of digital solutions on students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) in the education sector. The study focuses on analyzing the effectiveness of various digital tools and platforms designed to support students with SLD and aims to evaluate their role in improving learning outcomes, engagement and accessibility in the classroom. Thisthesistriesto show all the different aspects of being an SLD in 2024, not only listing the new technologies and applications that are used and suggested to kids with the various dysfunctionalities but also seeing how the law (in Italy) defines these disordes, what are the rights and tools they can use and delving into the emotional aspect of being an SLD, which should be the core of any solution aimed at helping kids with dysfunctionality. I explain my start-up project that I am trying to implement, nowadays various people involved in providing care for children with neurodevelopmental disorders have decided to be part of the project because of affinity of values and ideals. In conclusion thanks to the collaboration of the Magrid team I have analyzed the data of neurotypical children and children with dyslexia who have used the app, the findings made can be the basis for developing a new feature of the app that allows pre-screening of potentially dyslexic children, this could change and improve the lives of many children.
