This dissertation focuses on Copyright and eSports, namely on the relationship between the streamers and the video games publishers. We seek to unveil the videogame classification and ownership, then going through a study of the process and obstacles of a lawful streaming, culminating in an analysis of the publisher control position. Finally, we observe the eSports streaming as an object of copyright protection. We conclude that, although the streamer is a preponderant figure in the eSports ecosystem, he acts under the control of the video game producers.
