Diversity is increasingly a rare and inimitable asset to be valued in the organizational context. As any organization has its own diversity ecosystem, assessing whether differences have an impact on performance, both as a team and at an organizational level, is of prime importance and substantiates the central objective of this study. The research methodology to validate this question also allowed us to evaluate the determining role of management and the influence of leadership in the context of diversity versus the performance of the organization. The results obtained in the selected unit of analysis showed a positive impact of diversity at the operational, market and financial levels, as well as contributions to the acquisition of competitive advantage and value creation.
