Abstract

This final report concludes the Supervised Teaching Practice, carried out in the Basic School of Marvila, in the context of the Master’s Degree in Religious Sciences. It seeks to be a contribution to the teaching of unit 3 - richness and meaning of affections, in the 7th grade.Through the development of a project based on the methodology of Service Learning, it aims to be a contribution that may help students to develop the capacities of empathy and compassion towards others, through a project thought out and defined by them. It is also intended to be a theological contribution on the mystery of suffering and the way in which, with Christ, each one can be helped to remain in the question that invades every human being and touches him in his innermost being: what is the meaning of human suffering? It tries to demystify ideas about suffering that can lead to frustration and help to set a path through this mystery, especially at the stage of adolescence. It points to the discipline of EMRC as an appropriate place to develop these themes.
