Abstract
This report presents the activities carried out over 24 weeks of curricular internship as part of the Master's in Creative Industries Management, undertaken at the cultural association d’Orfeu in Águeda. During this period, the activities developed were focused on management support, marketing, and the organisation of d’Orfeu, including tasks such as securing sponsorships, inventory management, and content creation, among others. Furthermore, the report explores how artistic education can serve as a tool for social inclusion, using this association as a case study. The choice of d'Orfeu as the host institution for the internship is based on its local relevance in Águeda and its consistent and ongoing engagement with the community. The association promotes various cultural activities, with the Escola de Palco and the OCA Project being the focus of this study, as they aim to engage diverse audiences, including young people in socially vulnerable situations. This research seeks to understand the fundamental processes and models for creating inclusive programmes and to reflect on potential social and economic outcomes and transformations. The aim is to contribute to a deeper understanding of how artistic education can strengthen social cohesion, foster personal growth, and promote community identity.| Date of Award | 12 Sept 2025 |
