Abstract

This paper examines the influence and contribution of Pope Francis' Encyclical Letter Fratelli Tutti in the context of education for a just and supportive society based on fraternity. The encyclical offers a comprehensive view of contemporary social issues, emphasizing the importance of global solidarity, social justice, and fraternity as fundamental pillars for harmonious and just coexistence. The study analyzes how Fratelli Tutti provides an ethical and moral framework that can guide the education and formation of individuals and communities towards a common commitment to build a more just, supportive, and fraternal world. It highlights the importance of promoting values such as mutual respect, inclusion, equality, and justice, while addressing crucial issues such as migration, integral ecology and the global economy. In addition, the paper presents the encyclical's practical contribution to the development of educational content and pedagogical strategies that promote fraternity and solidarity. It concludes that Fratelli Tutti offers an inspiring guide for educators and leaders committed to shaping a more just, equitable and fraternal society, highlighting the need to act together to achieve a more inclusive and compassionate future for all.
