This study analyses the impact of Portugal Fashion on textile entrepreneurship in Portugal, highlighting its role as a catalyst for innovation, internationalization and business success. Through an in-depth analysis, the synergies between the event and the entrepreneurial ecosystem are explored, revealing valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by textile entrepreneurs. The research focuses on the evolution of the textile sector over the last ten years, exploring how the event contributes to the emergence and growth of new businesses, as well as identifying the main influences and changes resulting from this phenomenon. The literature review highlights the key theories and concepts of entrepreneurship, emphasizing the characteristics and skills needed to thrive in the textile sector. In addition, the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, such as global competition and lack of access to finance, are discussed, along with the strategies adopted to overcome them. Through case studies of successful entrepreneurs, key strategies and skills that have contributed to growth and success in the textile sector in Portugal are presented. Portugal Fashion emerges as a transformative agent, driving economic growth, supporting emerging talent and strengthening Portugal's position on the global fashion stage. In addition, the study also highlights the importance of innovation and sustainability, proposing recommendations to promote sustainable growth in the sector. The research methodology adopted includes questionnaires, interview and data analysis to understand the profile of textile entrepreneurs, quantitative and qualitative results, and comparison with existing literature. The data collection allows for an in-depth analysis of the profile of textile entrepreneurs, as well as the challenges they face, such as global competition and lack of access to finance. In conclusion, this study aims to offer a comprehensive view of entrepreneurship in the textile sector in Portugal, identifying opportunities, challenges and strategies for entrepreneurs, thus contributing to the enhancement of Portuguese fashion. The recommendations proposed aim to promote the sustainable growth of the sector, encouraging innovation and inspiring future leaders of the textile industry in Portugal.
