The Scouting movement is considered a school of educational institution for various children and young people nowadays, teaching them how to steer their own canoe towards happiness and involvement in the community. Taking into consideration that communities are currently going through a 'change of the times', this dissertation aims to investigate how the Scout Method helps foster a greater sense of belonging to Parochial Communities. Launching from an analysis of the sociocultural and ecclesial horizon, we aim to understand how it is this youth ecclesial movement can be an active presence in Parochial Communities and, through its method, shape its members for an enhanced community experience.
