Abstract

The goal of this document is to report the entire journey made in the context of a curricular internship at BAP Animation Studios. The internship was carried out in the context of the short film “Percebes” production, produced by Laura Gonçalves and Alexandra Ramires, where most of the efforts were applied to help paint the project. It lasted 6 months: from September 6, 2022, to March 17, 2023. The report intends to reflect and describe all the tasks outlined during the internship, by the directors, and the integration into the studio's multidisciplinary team. As well as the reflection on the visual construction processes of the studio’s projects. Its main goal was the unique experience of working with professional animators within the Portuguese animation industry. It also addresses the initial expectations and final opinions of whom chose an internship as a way of completing their Master's degree. Talking about the tools acquired in a curricular context, at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, which were developed throughout the stay in the studio, as well as the new skills that will accompany the professional path in the future.
