Estágio curricular na produtora Filmesdamente

Abstract

The main goal of this report is to present and support all the work developed in the area of post-production, in the company FILMESDAMENTE – production studio, throughout the internship period, within the scope of completing the “Internship” curricular unit in the 2nd year of Master's Degree in Cinema at the Universidade Católica do Porto, Escola das Artes. The curricular internship lasted six months, on a full-time basis, starting on October 23, 2020 and ending on April 23, 2021. During that period, I conducted video editing and image assistant functions, the latter having been performed only occasionally. This report is divided into three parts, respectively an introduction, two development chapters and a conclusion. The first part is a presentation of the welcoming company. In the second, all the projects, in which I actively participated, are presented chronologically, as well as the respective end customers. The third part of the report sets up a self-reflection around my progress, the experience I gained and what I can envision for my professional future. In relation to the two development chapters, in the first, through monthly schedules and brief descriptions, all the projects developed over the six months of the internship are organized. In the second chapter, and according to a chronological criteria, in-depth descriptions of all the projects developed at FILMESDAMENTE – production studio are presented, as well as some projects where I played the role of image assistant.
