The aim of this dissertation is to describe the profile of post-Bologna master’s graduates from the Faculdade de Economia e Gestão - Católica Porto Business School (FEG-CPBS) between 2008 and 2017, and the professional career of those graduates in connection with their master's degree. Specifically, it is intended to understand both the origin and the destination, in terms of the labor market, of the graduates of each master's degree, which may inform a possible readjustment of the Master's offers of the School. The method used was an online survey conducted to FEG-CPBS graduates between 2008 and 2017. The survey contains about forty variables that allow the characterization of the profile of the graduates of each master, including their current position in the labor market. A master's degree can be understood as investment in human capital. Human capital has been studied by a large number of authors. The relevance of education in the growth and development of individuals, economy and society is supported by the theoretical framework on human capital analyzed, and there is empirical evidence of the determining role of higher education in this context. Results show that for most of the analyzed variables - from demographic to those related to schooling or professional experience - there are no significant differences across masters. The results related to the high levels of employability of the graduates and on the wages that, starting from low levels, grow along the way of the mentioned graduates in the labor market can be highlighted. The evidence gathered seems to support the idea that education eventually leads to higher employability and to higher incomes in the labor market. Keywords: College education; Human capital; Employability; Wages; Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
