This research work aimed to identify how HRM practices have evolved at Unicer, particularly those that have an impact on training and development. For this purpose, we took into account the perceptions of stakeholders, HRM professionals and organizational managers linked with the analysis practices in use and confronted with the knowledge available in literature for this domain. The investigation followed a case study methodology with a qualitative nature approach using the interview, observation and document analysis. According to the Society for Human Resource Management (2015) HRM professionals have been planning major changes so they can have an increasingly strategic role on business. Given this importance, it has been necessary to implement practices and adapting them to the needs and challenges that business requests (Farouk et al., 2016). Thus, the results obtained in this study demonstrate the importance of stakeholders to the development of practices, showing with particular focus on the need to evolve and take advantage more often the technological and human resources to improve processes; the updating and promotion of good practice and the sharing of information to all stakeholders. This work finished with the presentation of practical lessons for the study organization in order to address the perceptions identified by the participants, maximizing them and making them useful.
