In the present day society the changing processes are part of the day by day of the organizations. Changes bring uncertainty and unpredictability that may affect the psico social relationship between companies and employees The present study aims at understanding in what way the psychological contract- the expectations an individual has towards the organization (Rousseau 1995) - develops before a planned organizational change in the secondary sector in the North of Portugal in the workers perspectives and the Human Resources Department members perspective. It is a qualitative investigation developed by eight semi structured interviews(Human Resources director, Human Resources professional three intermediate managers and three workers). The company where the investigation took place is composed by several industrial units . The intermiate managers and the workers belong to the three different units. The data analysis was supported by Software NVivo9 through content analysis. It was possible to understand that the changing process implies a .set.of structural changes on the organizational process level. Through the qualitative analysis we managed to understand that the intermidiate managers feel injustice and paradoxically feel happy with the organization.The workers also felt injustice as well as limited organazational support So we were able to identify two different types of psychological contracts:three transactional and two relational,although it was not clear which contract applied to one of the workers. The truth is that there were cases we were not able to identify styles of types of psychological contract which may demonstrate the fact that there was breakage and violations are due to the implementation of the organizational change process. Concluding we were able to understand that one of the main factors so that changes can be effective… processes is based on the dynamics of emplyees and organizations relationship.
