The purpose of this study is to understand and explain if the workers who use recovery experiences feel more satisfied in the labor market and if satisfied workers resort to recovery experiences. Two instruments were used: Recovery Experiences Questionnaire (Sonnentag & Fritz, 2007) adapted to the portuguese population (Lobo & Pinheiro, 2012), set by four subscales - Relaxation; Searching for challenges; Psychological distance and Control - and the Cuestionario of Satisfacción (Mélia & Peiró , 1998) , also adapted to the portuguese population (Ferreira, Fernandes, Santos, & Peiró, 2010) set by three dimensions - Satisfaction with supervision; Satisfaction with the physical environment and satisfaction with the benefits. 214 employees from Hospital de Braga participated in this study. Posteriorly, the initial database has been redesigned, giving rise to a new database composed only with doctors and nurses. Through these analyzes it was concluded that individuals who do not use the recovery experiments can feel dissatisfied at work and individuals who feel satisfied at work resort to recovery experiences.
