This research stems from the need for change in the teaching practice for a knowledge and information school, an area we want to be interesting, innovative and cutting edge. Web 2.0 is, today, a privileged means of communication and access to information to which school cannot remain indifferent. In this case study we intended to analyze, in the context of the classroom, the impact that the use of Web 2.0 tools have on the teaching methods and the students’ learning and also the degree of interest and motivation demonstrated by them in carrying out proposed activities in the school subject of Visual Arts. We tried to describe an educational intervention using some Web 2.0 tools, evaluate the work processes and the final products of the students during the intervention. The conception, execution and online production of a Comic Strip and an Audio-Guide were the work proposals, developed in a constructivist learning environment. This case study was carried out with a class of students from the Secondary Education, aged between 13 and 15 years old. The analysis of data from different techniques and instruments for data collection, in this research, led to the conclusion that interactive digital technologies have enabled the incorporation of new teaching practices in the subject of Visual Arts. As a support and stimulus to learning, the Web 2.0 tools had important motivational effects on students, facilitated and streamlined techniques and procedures, and promoted the collaborative work in the development of tasks carried out with the students.
