Fuga

Abstract

"Fuga", short film, 8 minutes long, directed and produced by the author of this report, in documentary format, narrates the story in an abstract way of someone who was forced to flee, like many other Portuguese, clandestinely to France, in a not too distant past. The present report is based on making known the whole process involved in the development of this audiovisual project from pre-production, production and post-production, which took place during the second year of the Master in Sound and Image, Specialization in Audiovisual Cinema. The motivations that dictated the making of this audiovisual content were essentially due to the scarcity of Portuguese cinema in dealing with the theme of illegal emigration. The main objective was to highlight the human being's capacity for overcoming and resilience in search of a better life.
