Abstract
This report focuses on the activities developed during a six months internship, at gnration. Located in the city of Braga, this space intends to establish itself as a Creative Cluster, through three distinctive areas: Entrepreneurship (Startups), Youth Policies and Cultural Program. The internship only comprehended the last area of action enunciated, which is understood, in this report, as a contemporary practice of Cultural Management.For a better understanding of the work carried out and the potentialities/characteristics of a space of this nature, a brief conceptual framework regarding these structures was established, as well as a detailed account of the Host Entity, with its operating mode and purpose. It was also elaborated a description of each department and referred different functions inside the area of Cultural Program, followed by the explanation of all activities developed. After this, it is presented the description of all the activities from an introductory note, followed by the list of tasks achieved and the skills acquired in each department: Cultural Program, Production and Communication.
In conclusion, the future work perspectives, the final considerations and the importance of the internship for the author (Master's degree student), for gnration (as an Entity) and for the scientific community itself, are discussed.
