Abstract

Being the number one in Europe and number three in the world weighs. It's not a title for all hotels. The management positions must have the skill, knowledge, and hospitality experience of long years to get to this top. In a world of hotels currently so fiercely competitive, with so many offers of choice of locations and prices, how did they manage to highlight this much? This work aims from a professional experience in the context of an internship at Grupo Onyria Golf Resorts, in the area of sales coordination, trying to figure out what is exactly the event management: what it covers, what is necessary, what exactly has to be done. It’s important to realize that it is hard to be a good sales coordinator, because it's not enough to be a chief. To be a leader and to create, manage and coordinate an event is not a task so simple as it figures, and it is one of the main focuses of this work.
