Abstract

In this paper develops the study, in generic terms, flexibility in Housing for People of all Ages, since the architecture are faced with new problems to implement new ideas of mutation, a result of various social factors, and in this particular case of an ageing population, economic and technological. In this sense, the research on the concept of flexibility associated with greater versatility and versatility of housing space, so that it can adapt different modes of lives of the inhabitants, giving a response to their needs, and giving them the opportunity to own the space and customize to your measure. Aims to contextualize the main theme to dwell and ageing in the 21st century, which is directly connected with the increase in life expectancy and contextualizes it. Face to the topic of Flexibility aims to contextualize the theme, from the point of view, cultural, architectural and conceptual historic, by delivering dynamic examples associated with housing, not only for its potential to answer, but also by the desire to show new ways of structuring. Starting from the analysis and practical examples to explain the concept applied to practice in the development of the project to the discipline of integrated project and urban renewal integrated project.
