This study aims to analyze the relationship between Adversity History in Childhood,Resilience and predictors of Psychopathological Symptomatology (Anxiety, Depression and Somatization) in adults. Several studies find that adverse childhood experiences can be predictors of psychopathological symptomatology in adulthood, and that resilience functions as a protective mechanism in predicting these forms of symptomatology. The sample consists of 528 participants, aged between 18 and 67 years, who completed the following questionnaires: Sociodemographic Questionnaire, History of Adversity in Childhood, Reduced Resilience Scale, and BSI-18. The results suggest that participants who report a history of childhood adversity show lower resilience and a higher degree of psychopathological symptomatology compared to individuals who do not report a history of adversity. History of adversity in childhood and resilience were confirmed positive and negative predictors, respectively, of psychopathological symptomatology in adulthood. The literature and the data obtained in this research reveal the multifaceted and multidimensional nature of the variables studied. As such, research in this area should focus on improving the tools used to approach the object of study, deepening and broadening the scope of study of the problem.
