The report deals with the process of creating the animated short film "Hypnotized", the story of a young adult, Alfredo, who has a deadline to hand in a piece of work. However, throughout the narrative, he gets lost in time playing video games on his console. The deadline gets closer and closer, but the character continues to play chained, literally, by arms and hands that come out of the screen and grab him, in a difficult inner struggle. It is a project that combines 2D with 3D, reflecting the author's affinities in the search for an artistic identity. In fact, in this work, 3D is associated with rigidity, scenery and objects, while 2D is associated with the plasticity of drawing, movement and action, based on the technique of rotoscoping. This is a project that was built in its various aspects (pre-production, production and post-production) by a single person, who was faced with a series of difficulties that he had to overcome in favor of the idea conceived.
